Your post on the need for this website is very well stated. And your right, people that have put UBF behind them do find this website boring. Prior to last week, I had not returned to this website in 9-10 monthes. But your right, everyone is at different stages in their UBF experience. Nevertheless, I agree with Tony that it would be nice to get to know people through an off topic board. I have always had friends from various backgrounds and opposing points of views. It makes life more interesting to have such friends.
So, yes I would participate in an off topic board. All of the topics you mentioned would be worth discussing.
