I really agree with you guys on the availability of information. I really feel for the people that have been caught up in UBF. Because uBF is a so called 'spiritual organization' we tend to think that the people in this group have holy intentions and that they would not sin. I went through the disappointment of finding this out in UBF (once again thanks to this website). For a while I felt lost, but I kept remembering that these people cannot talk for God. That is, I do not have o follow their orders. My relationship is directly with God, not through some UBF leader. Like I said I do the 1:1 Bible Study because I feel that I benefit from it. However, I would caution anyone who plans to attend 1:1 Bible Study to do their research on UBF and cults. You can get caught up in it! I'm following much of the advice on this website. I hope that I can help a person like E if the situation arises. Unfortunately, I don't live in the same country. I have nothing to lose, as I have already accepted that they might give me the boot when they realize that I am not the type to follow orders.
Thank you all for your support and for sharing these painful experiences.

Grateful (for your website)UBF member
