Paul Hong in charge of house church development and marriages? That is definitely another case of a fox in charge of a hen house. I moved two thousand miles, left a good job and my own home to marry by faith in Toledo. Some how PHong does have the legal authority to marry people, but 3 weeks after my marriage he refuses to sign the marriage license. He said he would sign it after the other couple who were married that day received some legal documents from China, and he then would sign them both at the same time, possibly and after more prayer. This was a lie, because the other couple (knowing PHongs character) visited the justice of the peace at the Toledo courthouse before their UBF marriage. I think that he figured he could manipulate more work out of my husband. Needless to say, I was furious,and kicked my husband out of the bedroom. Then he persuaded PHong to give up that ridiculous plan. I wonder how many other couples he tried to pull that one on?
