This wording is not found in the Bible. The closest would be Hebrews 13:17 "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you." (NIV)

You somewhat evaded the question. The question was whether it is biblical when a leader demands "obey me like you obey God." You could have simply answered with yes or no.

I think Heb 13:17 is not even close to such demands. Please note the phrase "as men who must give an account" which is one of the problems with UBF leaders, who act as men (or women) who must not give an account. And please take the time to read some exectical studies on Heb 13:17, one of the favorite verses of UBF and other authoritarian Bible groups. I will show you that it means something completely different than UBF teaches.

In case you've not seen my website recently, I had taken the JC content down.

Good to hear. No, I didn't have a look on your website recently, because I lost any interest when I noticed you hosted JC30's content. I had hoped you were much different from JC, and was badly disappointed to see you being in cahoots with him. Maybe you recognized that JC's content did more harm to UBF than any good?
