I believe without a doubt that rsqubf speaks the truth, but an outdated and irrelevant truth ... ubf leaders are conscious of mistakes they have made in the past, well I would hope so

"American Shepherd," I suggest you post using your real name or nickname. I think your last clause shows that even you are pretty aware that this is nothing but wishful thinking.

What you are basically saying is that UBF has "reformed" itself completely since we left. But when I left in 2001, any reformers were still labeled "rebels." When did this alleged reform happen, concretely? What concretely has been officially admitted as a "mistake of the past"? Are the reformers of the past still considered "rebels" in UBF, if they spoke the truth? Why did Sarah Barry never answer our questions if we spoke the truth? Why is there no apology to those who suffered from the "mistakes of the past"? Some of many, many questions arising after the statement you make. Please, do some reality-testing and do not dwell in wishful thinking. Get educated about the past history of abuse in UBF and the general problems of authoritarian and shepherding/disicpling systems.

If you want to have a meaningful discussion, please substantiate what you consider to be "mistakes of the past." Were they only personal problems of some few leaders or were there also problems in doctrine, practices and methods?
