Their showing up at your place of employment unannounced should tell you something about them. It at least shows how desperate and dysfunctional they are. BTW, how many of them was it that visited you?

I'm not in your position, and was not the subject of a surprise UBF visit designed to catch me off guard and put on the defensive. But I would have been up front about what bothered you such as their attempt to get you into a UBF arranged marriage and their seeming need to try to constantly control you. And I would have told them that their behavior is consistent with what has been reported by many other former members, and that it is understandable why UBF has such a negative reputation and has been thrown out of the NAE.

And then after their inevitable excuses, justifications and rationalizations, I would have told them on no uncertain terms that I do not want to have anything more to do with them. The nerve of them to ask you if they did anything to offend you. They are either totally blind to what they are doing wrong or totally calloused.
