Dear E,

You are getting my thoughts at the end of a very tiring day, so they might not be the best.

Nevertheless, I think the gist of the leaflet should be "Hey do you know about those people on campus who ask you to study the Bible? They act overly nice and at the same time are pushy about causing you to doubt your beliefs and they are pushy to get your phone number or make a "Bible study appointment" with you. Perhaps you've been wondering, "Is this group a cult or is this just a really intense and motivated church?" Well, here are some facts that can help you answer that question:
- Those people, whether they admit it or not, most likely belong to an organization called UBF.
- UBF people see themselves as great spiritual leaders and call themselves "shepherds." You are seen as a lost "sheep".
- UBF people want to establish a one-on-one controlling relationship with you. They may seem to be very accommodating and nice at first. But they will gradually force their beliefs and agenda on you and make you believe that the only way to be saved and go to heaven is to commit your whole life to UBF.
- As members become more committed to the organization, they are strictly required to attend numerous meetings and give monetary offerings.
- UBF members are discouraged from having friends outside of UBF, are encouraged to distance themselves from their family, are not allowed to date.
- UBF members are only allowed to marry UBF members. These marriages are often arranged at a moment's notice between two strangers.

And then maybe insert some quotes from some of the testimonies that you have read from ex-members. And of course have a link to rsqubf.

This leaflet thing is really a great thing to do. Hope you succeed.

Best wishes,
Anonymous ex-UBFer
