In reply to: Chris 's message, "Re: Acts 5:29?" on 17:01:02 10/19/04 Tue

Now, let's consider a moment, what many of you, like Chris, did, when you were in UBF. Beeing precise, you did not deny to obey, according acts 5:29, you left UBF.

You said in other words: Obedience our leaders should be our principle, disobedience should be the choice in a clear conflict situation, between God's will and your shepherd's will. I also agree with that.

But does that apply to you? What about you Chris? Look at the eyes of the readers of this forum and mostly stay before God and say, that you have been an obedient disciple. Have you been an obedient disciple, until you left, because your leader made a mistake and expected you to do something in conflict with God's will? Remember Chris, there are people here, who remember your time in UBF, so look out, what you reply.

Having now chosen the ministry of your choice, are you NOW obedient to your leaders?

For how long do you want to excuse yourself pointing at the faults of others. Check yourself, if you really obey your leaders, your very human leaders in this world.

Let's not talk theoretically, Chris. I at least know you. Have you ever accepted training in obedience towards leaders as a chance to grow in love to God? Perhaps outwardly you did, what they wanted. But you never accepted it.
