Five posts? Depends, I suppose. It would be reasonable as the shield is 'expensive' by credit means, but it depends on the form of battle, because if it's a RP duel or whatever then it may only last five posts each, and if one (or both) are shielded... Not a lot of action.
Fifteen credits to start sounds reasonable. If one decides to max out their credits, three days no magic before their credits 'regenerate'. They can gain extra credits by doing 'special tasks'. But fifteen more credits each week? Well, then you'd have super-powerful shamans within months, and that... may not be reasonable. Five more credits per month?
So say a new shaman has 15 credits (how about if they 'spend' all their credits in a three-day-period they 'max' out their credits), and essentially every week (7 days) they can use all of them, as long as they don't max out (see bracket corresponding to this) they can use as many credits as they like. Every Saturday, say, the credits regenerate (say if you've spent 12 credits all week, you get your full fifteen back on Saturday), unless you've 'maxed out' when you have three days to wait before your credits all come back. A month later, they get five more, giving them a grand total of 20 credits. And so on.
Sound good?

Also, I was thinking about bringing in a new form of fighting. A full out 'war' so to speak. Everyone fights against everyone else, no preplanned duel or challenge, just a full out fight. Instead of five posts perhaps it lasts five days, to maybe even a week. This may encompass also attacks, where instead of just challenging the clan you can pop by and attack. Attacks would take place on the clan boards, full out wars take place on the raid/challenge board (which I oughta rename the Battlegrounds or something). Maybe challenges/duels would be the only way to gain territories/reclaim raided things or people, but wars can be payback, getting even, etc, or if both the clans decided (and agreed upon) the outcome of the war means something (loser loses their territory, or whatever), then it can be used for the same reclaim/claim reason as well. Tell me what you think...
