The sleeping clatts send a shudder down her spine, but what's more is the sight of Granth running off without her. Fool, he knows not what Lavana is like. She does, and the very thought of what could be lurking in the shadows sends the closest thing to fear she could ever feel deep into her heart. She grits her teeth in anger over the fact that Granth had forgotten she was the other half of the mission's party. She would give him a severe tongue-lashing when they were out of hearing range of the clatts, whether or not he would understand her. She holds back a snarl and leaps after the departing Hunter, her speed greater than his, so she gradually catches up to him*
