Yikes! Now I kinda feel bad for posting that message. I was a bit pissed at Tommy leaving that message from my posting of last Sunday, like I wasn't supposed to be proud of being the daughter of a US Veteran. I just wish I could check the message board during the week, so I know what's going on here. I thought that most everyone would be okay by now with the idea of Obama being our President. I sure know so many people and co-workers that are so happy that Obama won, and that our economy will have the chance to turn around and get back to the way it was before Bush came along.

I just get so mad sometimes when I think of all the people who are losing their homes to foreclosures and to the rich investors and bankers who were allowed to run their businesses with no thoughts to what may happen in the future. Now we all are going to have to pay for their stupidity. And I knew that this would be one place I could go to vent my frustration.

PS. My son will be having a 'tofu' turkey at his friend's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe I'll make tofu next year, but I already bought the turkey and all the fixings and I don't want it to go to waste. I know that he has made me interested in learning more about being a vegetarian, but I am so used to eating meat and poultry that I can't imagine NOT eating it anymore; but I would be willing to try it--I'll ask him to bring home a piece (slice?) of it.
