There's nothing wrong with having some fun, but whoever the troll or trolls is/are, they've pretty much made this a joke as a political board, in my opinion, anyway.
Yep, people get tired of talking about current events. "You say it best when you say nothing at all." If there's nothing of interest to talk about, politically or current-events related, then don't say anything. If it's any of the regulars of the board who have turned troll and turned the board into what it is - shame on you.
There's one politician from my neck of the woods, I had told her about this board and the heated debates that were common an any political issue. She LOVES getting the views of other people on anything and everything political. As far as I know she never posted, but she used to read the board fairly often for the past year or thereabouts. I got an e-mail from her a couple weeks ago telling me she didn't come here any more, that the messages were more childish than the behavior of any of the 5th and 6th graders she used to teach. And knowing what some of the kids were like when she was my teacher, that's saying something! lol
My point is, whoever the troll(s) might be, if their goal was to destroy the credibility or standing of this as a political board, they did a good job. I'm still wondering if it's the same troll that took over Missy-Jo's board last year. Whoever's doing it, I feel sorry for them, if that's what they have in their life that makes them happy. I think I'd be selling the computer and checking into group therapy lol
