Arienne, having stabled and looked after Chestnut, overheard Alesta speaking to Isayah.

"Alesta! Wait!" she called, running up to the Prentice. "May we come with you?" she asked, indicating herself, her step-sister Pallaryn and their friend Aliambra.

"I think Ali needs some rest." Pallaryn told her step-sister, and Arienne suddenly noticed how tired Ali looked.

"Oh yes!" she said, full of concern, "You go into the inn and rest up Ali. We won't be gone long, and this way we won't disturb you!" Arienne said with a pleased smile.
