It's my impression that advocates of the PL support HC inclusion in the league based on the academic "purity" of its participants. It appears to me that Taylor has been given free reign to bring anyone into Lehigh. Last year a senior transfer, this year a juco player. The same thing goes on at American. What's the difference between this and what goes on in the MAAC or A-10? At least competing in either of those leagues would provide solid competition against more traditional rivals. Not to mention the fact that it would open recruiting possibilities with kids who are academically and athletically sound but won't even think about playing in the PL. I agree with a number of prior comments that Reagan has been a huge disappointment and has done little or nothing for the athletic programsa at HC. Its time someone on the hill wakes up and realizes that b-ball mens & womens is the one sport that can be upgraded and become a revenue source for the college.
