You can try brushing him twice a day.

We had a dog once when we got her who was malnutritioned and she lost a lot of hair. You might want to bring him to the vet to see if there is anything wrong. We ended up getting some powered stuff to mix in her dog food. It made her coat nice and shiny and she didn't shed very much at all. Once she was eating proper meals and was actually allowed in the house (the ppl that had her before fed her potato skins and kept her outside all the time) she only shed in the spring and we found that the more excerise brushings and a bath helped keep the hair to a minimun. If it is just being caused by the spring time coming - vacuum a little bit more and brush her more and it will be over soon.

Good luck

Mahlyssa
