We are from Tweed and in October our cocker spaniel of 15 years died. We have a 7 year lab retriever mix and she is lovely, but being out on the farm, I think she would like company. Actually I think she is quite lonely since Hunter passed.
We have goats and horses, barn cats and lots of room. A good home. Our dogs are out of the house a lot. But come in and live in and sleep in a kennel under the stairs at night. They are trained to stay out of bedrooms and off rugs. They are dogs not dogs that think they are humans.

My husband first and foremost would like a Standard Poodle - but ... price whew! Got One? He wants a no shedding and we are used to the clipping & combing as our cocker spaniel was much the same thickening up quickly.
So a non shedding, happy guy (or girl) would be wonderful. So looking at your list you have some that interested my eye, but you give very little detail about the dogs. Some of these smooth dogs have Rotweiller or Pit bull, of which we do not want to support the breeding of.
My questions are what breed. Temperament. Training. And will they live well in what I have described. CLM
