The vixen listened carefully to what the silver minx said to her. She hadn't meant to act as though she knew everything. As if she were trying to act as though she were better. Hell, she didn't even want to bother thinking about this right now. She hurt so badly, she felt so sick. She wanted it all to stop. All of the hurting, both physical and mental. She offered a shaky smile to the Gaian Sovereign, lime ooids slightly glazed.

I understand your anger towards me, but I thank you for at least putting it aside enough to care for my children when I'm gone. It means more to me than you could probably know.

At least now she would know her children would have a mother to care for them. Ezmerelda wouldn't be able to love this clutch like she would her own, but she would still love them enough. As long as they had love, that's all that mattered. Sighing softly, Fate averted her gaze and lay her head down on the hard floor. She couldn't look at Ezmerelda and Raistlin holding each other like that. She just wanted her children right now...
