Brute stepped forth, away from his twin and the other draklings in his clutch. It had been more than apparent in a matter of seconds that his sire did not approve of 'Olath, but for some strange reason Venorik had expected this. He'd simply...known. That was why he now made himself the object of attention, even if he didn't neccessarily like all eyes on him. He needed to stand up to Raistlin though, for 'Olath and his mother. The thought of his mother was enough to push him forward faster than anything else would have. Gleaming white orbs narrowed, the small male remembering what his mother had had to witness as she died.

Let 'Olath be. Mother wanted him here, to teach us. She asked it of him before we were born. She knew that he neither belonged in this world or the Flaris world, just like us. She knew he could teach us of the Shadow ways, knew he would probably be more willing than anyone else here. Because you must remember, we're not exactly welcome here, are we?

By anyone. Possibly their full-blooded brother from the clutch before, Bavatos, but no other Shadow wished them here. Probably not even their own sire. It hadn't seemed to Venorik anways that Raistlin wanted them here. Look what he'd been busy doing when he should have been with them. Small brute sat upon dark navy haunches, whip of a tail wrapping about his hind leg in a cat-like pose as he waited for his sire to answer...
