Subject: It was a little eery to be walking along on the beach at night and see the girl out on the waves, her eyes piercing his soul and drawing such a pain out of the depths of his being that he thought he may possibly be dead already. His tongue peeked out between his thin lips, running over them briefly as he let out a low breath before he drew back and swallowed, shaking his head. He had to be dreaming here, there was no question about that...the angel on the waves wasn't his - his angel was back where she belonged now instead of staying on this foul earth where he was. Running a hand over his head, he took a few steps closer to the water, eyes focused on her. Whoever she was, didn't she know it wasn't a good idea to be out on the waves at this time of night by yourself? Not only that, but with all the stuff going on over seas, the tsnaumi's and crap, the waves were volatile and hard to guage....

  • So engrossed in the moment and the much-desired calming effect that the atmosphere was having on her, it took her a good long while before she noticed the figure on the beach. She could tell that he - though she wasn't completely certain that it was a male, she correctly assumed - was facing her, but nothing else. She toyed with the idea of waving, or calling out, but decided against it for the time being, and so just sat there. So still and silent - the wispy light of the moon providing her with a halo that she undoubtably didn't deserve - she truly could have been an apparition. Her dark hair fell in damp waves around her shoulders and her hands rested on her neoprene-covered knees, back straightened in correct posture. (NT) -- Reilly, 10:11:24 12/31/04 Fri
