• She was trudging down the beach with a heavy board tucked under her arm, trying to forget about what had happened. She'd been completely embarrassed, to say the least. Nate had brought her home and yelled at her, lectured her and called their parents and all sorts of horrible things. She'd only been allowed out today because of Autumn - her saviour. She was getting so depressed just sitting around at home, but the waves made her feel better. She had liked Travis, no matter what she told her friends.
