Subject: "Hey!" She called back after his second attempt reached her ears - but the way she drew out the word and the light-hearted tone to her voice was much less serious than his. She had heard all the stories and knew what could happen out there, but the way she figured it - she was being comfortably safe, and if something were to happen, then it was just meant to be. There was little in life that she feared - dying included, which wasn't to say that she didn't want to live to be old and gray and wrinkled, but she just refused to live her life in constant paranoia. He was a little harsh, yes, but he just was protective, even if he didn't know the girl. (NT) -- Zee, 10:29:47 12/31/04 Fri
