Subject: To tell the truth, he hardly recognized the girl getting ready to paddle out as he was getting ready to paddle in - he noticed her of course, some kid who was out to get themselves lost on the ocean and then would need rescuing, no doubt. He stomached his board, taking long, strong strokes as he made his way in toward the beach, but paused when he got closer, his brow furrowed. "Gabriella?"
