Subject: Sorry I never told you all that I wanted to say.

She trailed her feet lazily as she walked through the sand, a little sling pack over her shoulder carrying her shorts and a tank top, but unsure of where he was so she was just walking aimlessly, enjoying the sunlight and the water lapping around her ankles.

He was standing in the water not too far down the beach - just up to his ankles - momentarily distracted watching his mother's dog chasing the waves.
