He laughed softly and shook his head slowly, silent for a long moment before speaking finally. "Well it's about damn time." His smile lingered and his gaze turned to Jordy for her reaction - he thought the world of his son, and if he was ready to settle down it was only right that it was with Mariah. No one knew the future for certain - though he personally believed his son would be around long after he and his wife were gone - so he was pleased to hear that they were going to make the most of whatever they had.
