The way they tossed and turned so violently and free...she was almost envious of them. To be able to vent aggression so easily was something she desired deeply but it was out of her reach, that was, at least until she was allowed back out onto the field again. His words caused her brow to furrow, the corner of her lip tucking between her teeth. There was a lot she could say to that, a lot she thought about it but instead she kept her words simple. "I think you probably just miss being with somebody." He missed Fyre and that was more then understandable. He had found love with the woman, real love. He had found someone who had given everything to him, every part of her had been in the palm of his hand, of course he would miss that. That kind of love didn't come around often. She was just filling that lonely void for him. Of course, she accepted that and was actually kind of glad for it, she wanted to make his pain ease a little bit...

(What he missed the most wasn't the love, he still felt that for Fyre even though she wasn't there.. and he had Ayden to love with every ounce of his being.. it was being needed that he missed.. having a woman around that he missed. He loved the feminine feel of her body next to his, the soft soothing tone of her voice, and the way her heart beat against his fingers on her side. He had never been surrounded by so many people and yet felt so alone in his life.. and he needed a friend desperately. Somewhere deep down he knew that she wouldn't stay with him, that she would jump into the arms of the next mission that was offered to her, but for now he had a friend.
