Subject: (He sighed deeply, his eyes softening.) If you are talking about what I think you are talking about, Skye.. I have let that go. (He figured he had at least.. he understood her now, knew how devoted she was to the job.) I think if you jumped in head first and let your entire self go, you would be surprised just how fulfilling it is. (He tucked her hair behind her ear, wishing he could just do as he used to and kiss the sadness out of her eyes.)

  • Her eyes slid shut, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she thought it over for a second. "I don't have anything left to give, Niko. There's nothing left." She shrugged a little before she cleared her throat, shifting to sit up - out of the protection of his arms. She tried to remind herself that he had his own pain to deal with, he didn't need to deal with hers on top of it. She ran a hand through her touseled hair, shaking her head as she forced a smile. "Sorry, didn't mean to become melodramatic girl." She offered a slight half smile, biting her lip as she stood up and stretched her arms over her head. She wasn't going to get all depressed and whatnot tonight, she wasn't going to cry to him - it wasn't his responsibilty anymore. (NT) -- Skye, 07:30:08 10/26/05 Wed
