Shay was groggy, as she always was when first waking up but when she saw him she woke up a little bit more and headed quickly to the side of the bed, picking up his hand. She wanted nothing more then to cuddle up with him, to kiss him and hold him and play with his hair to relax him but she restrained herself. She bit her lip a little bit at that, her hand squeezing his softly, her other hand moving to gently run up and down his arm in a soothing sensation. She had always noticed that he was more observant then other people, her especially. He could pick out the tiniest detail in a huge mess, like at the concert, looking down at the throng of people, he had picked up on things that she never would have seen if he hadn't pointed them out. She looked over at him tenderly, her eyes soft as she saw him frown. "Always told you that you were to smart for your own good..." She teased softly, leaning forward to press a soft kiss to his cheek, just reassuring him before she drew back.
