The burnished young male's emerald jewels, caught sun, lighting up, bright, warm and lonely, despite the cold day. The watched as the wolf on the horizon, scanned, then stopped, pinpointed on him. A light voice, female, called to him. Swiveling ears heard, and he blinked. Supple muscle raised him off of his quarters, flag raised in banner behind him.

Gentle paws carried him over the snow, this time, his nose pointed toward the Earth, searching for the patches, marked as a drift. Despite his carefulness, he fell in one, and as he clambered out, a shamed look came to his face. First impressions were all in this world, and his had been none too good. Sighing lightly, he shook out the snow in his coat, leaving it glistening with small, droplets, that shone in the light. And he continued his way toward the silver'd fem.

Upon reaching her, he gave looked down, then up at her, giving her a half-grin, slightly comical, with a rouge-ish air. He was usually a wanderer. He had been many places, seen many things. His optics held a certain sparkle, one that had gained him many a dinner on those cold nights, and matched perfectly with his Earthly coat. Tail waving gently behind him, soft lips parting, his light voice came, full of warmth, with an odd accent, as do most who had lived far away.

"My greetings to you. I am known as Bentila. I was told, by a long lost...um...superior, to come find a home. Why I do not know, yet I am not one to disrespect. Might I reside here?"

His voice held certain mystery, as if he wanted to charm people, for he was still young, and loved to tease, yet if asked, his story seemed much longer than his youth. but to find out that past, one would have to ask...and pry much.
The pearly teeth were once again, revealed in a smile, bright against his dark pelt. He gave a guilty look as he spoke.

"I hate to say this, but I don't think I even know where I am. Or who you are...?"

He left it at that, hoping the wolfess would answer.

I am a wanderer
True of heart
Free of spirit

I reside where the wind takes me
Open plains, depthful seas
Rocky mountains, deep ravines

This glory has lasted too long
This happiness is ending
I have wandered too far

My soul needs a home
It has been lost too long

My body needs a rest
It has been beaten too far

My heart needs love
It's been alone too long

Too far
Too long
Too far
Too long

Pity me not
Take me in
Don't regret

Take a chance
Listen to your heart
Open your mind
