{ She trudged through the snow drifts, avoiding the holes for she knew where each and every one was. Her silver white was covered in freshly fallen snow she had failed to shake off. Her gray eyes shone warmly, despite the bitter cold that engulfed her small frame. She kept her eyes down watching where she stepped for fear for misjudging and landing into a deep snow drift. However, her nose caught hold of a new and interesting smell. The queen’s daughter cocked her head once she realized the smell of that of another wolf. She pause and angled her nose to the heavens and tested the air again. Sure enough, he was upwind somewhere. Her eyes adjusted as she searched the white tucked land around her. Her eyes carelessly passed the wolf by as she scanned her family’s land. She had mistaken his coat for that of a snow covered log with its many dancing shadows. However, as he made movement she detected it. Eyes snapped back to where they had once paused. Her head rose higher, tail was stung. She released a small greeting, soft but heard. The wind carried it to the male, beckoning him forward. ‘Come, do not be afraid’}
