His russet eyes follow the dragon's movements, his mind to mistrust those cold against him true. Slowly, he unfolds his posture, casting his eyes away, as if the woman had mentioned something offensive.

"I'm familiar." His voice is like steel, shoulders freezing rigid in a stance he was comfortably secluded with. Stones are crushed beneath his boots as he moves towards her, but on a loose path to the left. He gave her a berth he thought she deserved. "You are a strange woman. I've been facing prejudice for as long as I can remember, and now you tell me I am familiar to you."

He never knew it, but one of his hands had found its way to his waist, taking the chain in his fingertips. When he feels the cool metal in his grasp, he immediately lets the thing drop against, as if taken aback to what he was doing.

"Well," The stoic man turns about again to give seperate glances to the bonded. "Unless you can tell me where the next Rokor is, you are nearly useless to me. Familiar or not, I see no reason to tremble with awe at the fact you recognize me for someone I am not."
