I grew up in the early sixties. Enemas were very common then. My mother was very tricky. If I complained of a stomach ache at night,she would make Fennel tea but she would mix a Senna laxative in it without telling me what it was. She would say this will make you feel better. Then, in the morning she would check on me to see how I was 'feeling.' I would usually be feeling ok. However, she would check on me and say she wanted to check my temperature (rectally). Then, she would say I think you have a little fever. I think you need a suppository. I would protest, and say no. Next, she would say something like, "Relax, this isn't going to hurt a bit. Then, before I knew it she would have a finger inside my butt with a gob of vaseline, and with her other hand she would quickly insert a suppository high up inside me, and hold my butt cheeks together so I could not push it out. She would stay a couple of minutes like that until she would leave my room, and go to the bathroom. We had an enamel enema bucket with the black, hard rubber nozzles. From my room, I could hear the water running, and I knew an enema was next. She knew I would have to go to the bathroom. When I came to the bathroom, she would have towels laid out on the floor. She would let me go to the bathroom, close and lock the door, and make me lie on the floor. Again, she would stick a finger in my ass with a gob of vaseline. My first real (2 Qt) enemas started when I was 6 years old. And when one member of the family got one usually everyone got one. From the time I was six until I was 10 years old I received a 'good' enema (enemas until clear) at least 6 or 7 times a year. On my 10th birthday, my mother surprised me with a full enema can in the bathroom when I came home from school. She said, you are old enough to take enemas on your own now, and made me take an enema in front of her. These supervised enemas continued until I was @13. After that, when she took an enema, she would leave the enema out in the bathroom. That is how I came to have an enema fetish. It is a habit I both love and hate at the same time.
