I recall fantasizing a bit when Mommy syringed me during my pre-teen years and wondering (as the warm suds went in) how many other kids around the world might also be getting enemas at that very moment, and if maybe they were getting the same crazy feelings in their butts & bellies as I was!

Debby, I also thought the same way.
My mom, and aunt, were believers in giving an enema for most anything.

I used to think the same. When getting a bulb enema on the table, wondered if I was the only one getting an enema or was some other kid also getting an enema.

As I got older I would snoop. And discover I wasn’t alone in getting enemas. This was in the late 50s and 60s.

I wondered how they felt getting the enema.
Few times I remember my friends mom telling her younger brother she was going to give him an enema.
Once it was all prepared she came and got him.
Was exciting in a way knowing he was going to be given an enema by her.

Never saw him getting it. But knew what he was in store for.

Blessings for all.

To be sure, I didn’t mean any offense or getting weird when told I wondered the same as you did Debby.

One would think it is, was, normal feelings, most likely, for a child to wonder if they are the only one who was getting an enema, or got syringed , by their mom or aunt.

Did your mom use the bulb or higginson syringe to give enemas Debby?

For some of us, in childhood, it wasn't "wondering whether" other kids (outside the extended family) were going through the same thing, it was shock at the fact other kids either weren't, or weren't prepared to admit it - and bewilderment/anger at being told it was socially unacceptable to even raise the issue.
