I told our teenager that we have had to get back on an enema clean out once a month and she had to have the soap suds enema tonight and then her rinse. And I told her it was 100 percent her mom. I had to talk her down from demanding that I clean her out once a week still. I told her her mom said I just was going to let her get impacted again and start wetting the bed again. I said I'm not your mom and I don't want you to have to have any more enemas because you are doing so well on your metamucil but this is required again now. I wanted to let her take her enemas in the diaper position because that might not make her feel like such a toddler being bent over my leg for her enemas. But I've got to have her over my leg to lube her rectum and then to get the nozzle inserted through her rectum and into the sigmoid. I just need that close access to get it worked into her rectum and then sigmoid. So I just kept her there for the enemas too because that's the way we have always done it. She cried and it broke my heart but that is the way it is.
