We have talked a little bit about it. When ever I bring up the subject of enemas, either hers or my boys it turns to questions now. Do I think she is doing it on purpose? Do I realize she is afraid of her own poop? Will my boys have to have enemas when they are her age? This last week she wanted to hear my story growing up with stepmom's enemas. What was it like for me last month to get enemas from her again? Do I think there are a lot of kids that have a problem like her?

It’s good that you are sharing your story with her. I know it’s hard for you to share it but honestly, she needs to hear it so she will know she is not the only one plus you understand her. She needs to be able to open up to someone.

What I would like to know is her reason for helping give the boys their enemas. She may not say because it may be too personal. Like you give enemas like your mom to see the child on the toilet and getting their enema out of them. I wonder what she would think if you decided to tell her that before you started giving her enemas, you wanted to give an enema to her so bad. And explain why you felt that way. I wonder if she wanted to always give your boys enemas and since you asked her she didn’t hesitate to help you and now she is giving someone else an enema just like you are giving someone an enema.
The whole enema mental trauma is real.
