 give him a good cleanout and keep his bowels open daily for the next two weeks.This happened more than once and wasthe green light for mom and my aunt to give me enemas till I was all clean and a daily enema for two weeks.If the enema didn't hurt my aunt made sure it did.

Like you, our doctor always said to give enemas. I got them sometimes morning and night. In the mornings, my Mom gave them but at night my Dad gave them. His always hurt the most. If complained he said enemas were necessary for girls and women so you need to learn to take them.
