 I was about 10 and I decided to play sick so I did not have to go school. My mother came took my temperature. She told me I could stay, home but little did I know she called the doctor who was a friend of my father.
I was laying in my bed and my mother brought the doctor to my room and informed me he was going to check me.
He checked my throat and listened to my heart. He told me he was taking my temperature and he wanted it accurate so I was to roll over because it was going in my butt. I rolled over and bared my bottom, and he inserted the thermometer. After what seemed like forever he pulled it out read it and
informed me he would be right back and not to move.

My mother and doctor entered the room and I heard him tell my mother he was giving me a shot just in case. I felt the pain of the needle into my butt.
My mother told me to stay there while she walked the doctor our.
My mother came back into the room and instructed me over her knee. She informed me the doctor knew I was faking it and she was giving me a spanking for making him come over to check on me for nothing.
I laid in bed with a very sore bottom, but never pulled that again
