 In a rural area--50+ yrs ago our town doc made house calls and the one time I was really sick he gave me shots in the butt and returned every day for a few days and did the same--then I got well! Unlike others I was not nervous it was just part of being sick---M aybe you had more painful shotss mine were just the same as a shot in the arm--I was 15/16 and knew doc all my life--so his seeing my bare butt was nothing In fact I think my mom stayed in the room when I got the shots---which was not a big deal for me---Perhaps others had more painful shots
