God is the one who sees the heart of man.
Proverbs 21:2 says: "Every way of a man is right in his own eyes; but the LORD pondereth the hearts. And in Jer 17:9, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? vs 10 - "I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings." And Jeremiah writes again in 24:6, "For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pluck them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
And the Bible says, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. - Rom 3:23
And Jesus himself said: "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:17
Earlier in this same gospel of St John chapter 3, Jesus speaking said "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3:14 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jn 3:16
And lastly from Matthew chapter 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened.
The prerequisite is the new birth. No one can find the way without first coming to Christ!
The problem is that so many are looking for another way to get there! There is NO other way!
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matt 7:13,14
You will find it in JESUS' name!
