{A swift gust of wind whistles through the long stone corridor, obscuring the soft sound of wingbeats as the large ebony bird lands softly upon the cold cavern floor. She shifts quickly, dark feathers shifting into an onyx cloak as she stretches upward into her human form. Quiet gaze flickers to the spatter of dried blood and she nodds.
"Yes, at least two others may have been here..." her voice fades as her eyes follow the blood trail around a stone outcropping. Stepping forward briskly, she rounds the corner, glancing down witha frown of concern at the prostrate feline form.
Now what was that girl's name? Not Melody... but.. k- kali..yes that was it.
"Kali?" she calls.. crouching next to her, but careful not to touch the bleeding figure.
She shifts again but not, this time, into her usual feathered form. Ebony still, the sleek, graceful feline seats herself next to the other, nearly identical figure, only now extending a padded paw to prod the unconcious heap of fur.}
