Deconstructing the promo (longish)

(Note: I'm at work as I type this, so I'm pulling it from memory).

There's alot of speculation going on about this week's wild feed incident - and I have to admit that I wonder if the info we have received is a hoax.

But I think we can confirm many of the spoilers from the promo that aired on Tuesday. I've watched it over twenty times (sad, I know) to see if I can garner clues.

These are the scenes that are shown (not necessarily in the order presented on the promo):

1. Buffy standing atop a delivery truck looking very adamant about something.
2. Buffy breaking down a door.
3. Spike throwing down a ciggy and muttering "things are gonna change".
4. A buzz saw whizzing past Buffy.
5. Buffy unconscious on the ground and someone placing a hand to her chest.
6. Xander appearing in a doorway.
7. Jonathan jumping atop Buffy's back.
8. Buffy saying 'you're a murderer' to Warren and taking a swing at him
9. A man (Warren?) overturning a truck (possibly the same truck Buffy had been standing on)
10. Buffy crawling across the floor and a black-sleeved arm reaching for her leg,
11. Willow looking up the camera - her eyes glowing with magick.

And let us not forget the sound effects. They were garbled - but recognizable enough to recognize Buffy's voice saying things along the lines of 'please stop' and 'no'. I think we can surmise those are the lines from the soon-to-be-infamous scene with Buffy and Spike (and I have to admit the terror in SMG's voice gave me a major chill - computer enhanced sound or not)

Let's apply the scenes to the 'Seeing Red' wildfeed:

Scene 1 is when Buffy confronts Warren (pre or post-shooting).
Scenes 2and 4 are from the opener, when Buffy breaks into Nerd HQ.
Scene 3 is when Spike takes off to Africa after the near rape.
Scene 5 is when Buffy is shot by Warren.
Scene 6 could be Xander finding Buffy in the bathroom after the near-rape.
Scene 7 is when Buffy confronts the Troika the first time.
Scenes 8 and 9 are a pre/post shooting confrontation.
Scene 10 is clearly the near-rape.
Scene 11 is after Tara is shot.

Creepy stuff. As much as the entire wild feed incident could be a hoax - I doubt that ME (see the 'Spoiler Slayer Rant' Deeva posted yesterday) would go so far as to film all these scenes to throw us off.

I'm thinking that the wildfeed was pretty much on the mark - and this could be a double-hoax just to cause confusion among the fans. I think because this season has been so controversial with fans - ME is stirring the pot a little to get everyone hyper for the big stuff coming down the pipe.

I dunno...thoughts....comments?....
