The church we refer to is `Christ' himself. You are correct that we should acknowledge other organizations and church buildings as `The Body'. However, at least from my experience, the other churches in America I have attended throughout my life did not have the same spirit and mission of UBF. They did not focus on obedience to God's word, rather good fellowship and Spaghetti dinners on Wednesday. Also, 90% of the attendants were the elderly. UBF moved me because young people of all nations were meeting Jesus their Savior, studying God's word deeply, and were participating in the goal of disciple-making. I believe Christians with mission who know God's will have to get to those other `sit-down' churches and get the message across to them. How do we do this? Any ideas? Let us remember that God will examine the heart and personal obedience to determine our individual salvation. [Archiver's note: Unbelievable.] In the end, it won't matter whether your Baptist, Methodist, in UBF, or out of UBF. We can rebuke UBF attitude maybe some what, but I would rather rebuke those like `Church of Christ' who believe in their own baptism for salvation, or the divisions of the Catholic Church who believe one has to be `Catholic' to be saved.
