We should acknowledge other church *buildings* as the Body? Surely that's not your understanding of the Body of Christ? As for getting to those "sit down" churches and "fixing them up," it won't happen unless UBF opens up, tears down the wall of exclusivism, loses its institutional pride and approaches them first. But I think we have an irrational fear of being influenced by them and somehow losing our "mission." Besides, most of us think along with SLee that any time spent fellowshipping with "old Christians" is time not spent bringing more sheep. As long as UBF wants to one-sidedly teach other Bible-believing churches and not learn from them, UBF will remain exclusive and cut off. SLee is fond of saying, "Learning is not a sin," but learning is apparently a sin when it comes to relationships with other groups and churches.
