John Proctor was the first male to be accused of witchcraft in Salem when he defended his wife who was also being accused of witchcraft. In other words, the poster is making a weak argument that the reform movement and this web site are like a witch hunt. If there's anyone who feels like they're the subject of a witch hunt, it's me, but let's not get into that. The poster says that a man's name should not be destroyed. I don't think SLee's name has been destroyed. After all, many, many people remain staunchly loyal to him, and everything is "slander" to them. Does even SLee believe that sins should not be pointed out before the whole church? Occasionally in one of his messages he will tell the well-known story of a pastor who was sued for malpractice and ordered to pay several million dollars because he rebuked a woman for her adultery in front of the whole church. He defends the pastor, saying he had the right to point out her sin, even if it damaged or destroyed her reputation. And he considers a travesty that the pastor was sued and lost the case. Anonymous, you have to apply SLee's own standard to SLee.
