With a crown of thorns on his head
he asked "God" to forgive them as he bled
as they nailed him to the cross
he asked for mercy for the lost
When they removed his robe from him
They didn't think it was a sin
Then the "Lord" showed them his wrath
As they ttied to escape on each path
He punished those who did this thing
To others peace he did bring
Peace and love then came it is said
As "Jesus" arose from the dead
He died for each one of us
To save us from sin and lust
So don't forget to thank him each day
As you kneel down and pray
