A green flit lets up a screaming trill, setting off barking of numerous dogs in a run nearby. Flapping her wings, she sends frantic pictures to her human, who leaps up from his quarters and starts towards the Kennels. Barking fiercely, two loose dogs suddenly bound towards Z'yith, hackles raised and teeth bared. One, a slender mutt, comes within inches with his snapping jaws, and the other heavier canine backs her companion up staunchly, snarling and ready to attack if she must. The black pup inside the cage whimpers, tail tucked under her legs. Cursing the fact that his quarters are so far from his beloved canines, Jent sprints towards the Kennels as quickly as he can, though it'll be a few minutes before he can reach the area.
