He blinks, lowering his head to nudge her gently and affectionatly- then lifting and abruptly turning his head away. He stands still for some heartbeats before he finally speaks again, his deep voice harsh. you ... you, my Serenade, you drove me mad sometimes but we had fun didn't we? I missed you. Your chirpyness. And you remembered me, though I didn't always treat you as well as I might have ... you remembered me fondly, even. his head drops to the ground, then he lifts it again, getting a hold of himself he turns back. My daughter didn't. he finishes shortly, abruptly, and it's obvious he doesn't wish to talk more on the subject. He swivels his ears to her ... lightening his mood. So what happened?
