Author: Theo Book [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09:53:04 03/30/08 Sun Author Host/IP: cpe-72-184-206-15.tampabay.res.rr.com/72.184.206.15 If Logos was in the "before creation" beginning with God, and if Logos is a name, then it is the oldest "name" in all of creation. 1) Jesus was given a NEW name [Rev 3:12]; "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him MY NEW NAME." -Rev 3:12 2) written in his forehead [Rev 14:1]; "And I looked, and, lo, A LAMB stood on the mount Sion, and WITH him an HUNDRED FORTY AND FOUR THOUSAND, having his Father's name written in their FOREHEADS." -Rev 14:1 3) that no man knew but he himself [Rev 19:12]; "His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a NAME WRITTEN, that no man knew, but he himself." -Rev 19:12 4) called the logos of God. [Rev 19:13] "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his NAME IS CALLED The LOGOS of God." -Rev 19:13 5) Jesus is indeed, a Man APPROVED OF GOD by signs and wonders and Miracles. [Acts 2:22] "Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, A MAN APPROVED OF GOD among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:" -Acts 2:22 6) Since the name Logos is the oldest name in existence, and Jesus was given a NEW name, we must understand it is not the name that is NEW, it is NEW to the MAN, to whom it is given. 7) Therefore the bible clearly supports the truth that Jesus is a MAN APPROVED of God, and for a reward, was given a NEW (to him) NAME, WRITTEN in his forehead, "the LOGOS of God."
