Another late arrival trickled into the cavern, heeding the summons.

Zane hurried through the main entrance of the room, then stopped to survey the scene around him. Most people were still milling around aimlessly, so he assumed that whatever they had been called here to be told was yet unsaid. So I haven�t missed it, He thought with satisfaction. Even if the formal announcement hadn�t been made yet, he had an inkling of what it would be. Rokor.

His normally amicable blue eyes hardened at that thought, and an almost wolfish grin settled on his face. This is what I came here for. Defending people from those evil things!

Lome caught on to his rider�s thoughts from where he waited outside in the hall, not willing to enter the crowed space until he had too. The sudden burst of hatred from his generally kind rider was surprising, but in the red�s opinion, it was well directed. |We�ll get the Rokor together,| He remarked loyally.

Zane grinned, and leaned casually against a nearby wall, -Yes, we will!-
