She had known the other was going to do something long before the creature actually moved, though she had done nothing to protect or prepare. She carried two weapons, but seemed almost to have forgotten them. Her eyes tracked Sphinx as she attacked, her gaze remaing level and fearless. She did not even flinch as the blades were raised, though she felt their cold harshness clearly against her neck. Though the pair before her had no knowledge of this, she was accustom enough to death threats and knives. In surprising contradiction to what Sphinx had probably expected, her emerald orb revealed no fear, and she only sighed lightly. |Those that kill who will not fight back are truely cowards. To slay me would show neither strength nor skill, only spinelessness and misdirected rage.| She paused a moment, her rose lips actually tweaking into a smirk. |I will not bring bloodshed into this seemingly peaceful chamber.
