I actually wrote this quite a few years back,but came across it recently and thought it fit Ed.

The Challenge Of Life

From the moment we're born,we start to die
So live life to its fullest ,dont let it pass you by
If it's not a danger to yourself or others then dont be afraid to jump or ask how high

If your bored then your not living ,your heart is slowing down
Jump in the icy waters ,let the world wet you down
Dance between the flames ,let the spark light in your mind
Dont be afraid to get burnt,its how you know your alive

Make the world your canvas and splash the paint all around
Dont paint by numbers,let your hair hang down
Treat others with respect and you shall recieve it in return
Dont be afraid to turn your life lights on

Let the child inside you come out to play
Show your insecurities,thats how they go away
Tears are how your cleanse yourself ,so dont be afraid to let them flow
Touch a strangers life in passing ,for who they are you never know
Allow yourself to be touched ,its the only way to grow

Plant flowers for the butterflies to gather round
Admire the beauty of a weed,arent we all in need of alitle love
And above all, shoot for the moon......
For if you should fall your still among the stars
